Dubai Chambers to attract Mexican businesses to emirate

emirates7 - Dubai Chambers has formalized Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Mexico City’s National Chamber of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (CANACO) and the El Gran Bajío business promotion agency, a network of businesses and institutions in Mexico’s Bajío region.

The agreements aim to facilitate the expansion of Mexican investors into Dubai, supporting the establishment and growth of their businesses in the emirate while enabling Dubai-based companies to access Mexican markets.

As part of the MoUs, Dubai Chambers will provide tailored support to members of El Gran Bajío and CANACO to enhance their investment potential in Dubai. This initiative positions the emirate as a strategic platform for regional and global market expansion. Simultaneously, Dubai-based companies will be assisted in entering the Mexican market and forging fruitful business partnerships.

The agreements also focus on fostering stronger ties between the business communities in Dubai, Mexico City, and the Bajío region, promoting bilateral trade and investment opportunities. The scope of collaboration includes organizing trade fairs, investment missions, conferences, and exhibitions, along with the exchange of economic data and market insights.

Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Global Markets at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the potential of these partnerships, stating, “We are excited to advance economic relations and strengthen collaboration between the business communities in Dubai and Mexico. These agreements will unlock new opportunities for trade and investment growth, paving the way for promising partnerships across key sectors.”
