emirates7 - After securing a bronze medal at the World Under 23 European Championships, UAE Team ADQ's Eleonora Gasparrini claimed her third victory of the season by winning the Women's Cycling Grand Prix Stuttgart & Region. Eleonora triumphed with a powerful sprint finish, beating runner-up Lieke Nooijen from Visma-Lease a Bike and Mareille Meijering from Movistar on Sunday.
Dominika Wlodarczyk, Eleonora's teammate, finished in sixth place. The one-day Pro Series race spanned 118.2 kilometers, starting from Böblingen and ending in Stuttgart.
Reflecting on her victory, Eleonora expressed her gratitude, saying, "From start to finish, my teammates were exceptional. We took control early on, neutralized the breakaways, and maintained our position at the front throughout the race. In the final sprint, I gave everything, and I'm thrilled with the outcome."
Teammates Erica Magnaldi and Safiya Alsayegh, who recently competed in the Paris Olympics, also participated, with Alsayegh gaining valuable European racing experience. The UAE Development Team’s young talents, Hannah Kunz and Beatrice Caudera, were also part of the race.
