Etihad Airways, SKY express sign codeshare partnership

emirates7 - Etihad Airways has entered into a codeshare agreement with Greek regional airline SKY express, granting travellers greater access to 24 Greek island destinations and three additional cities in the Eastern Mediterranean via Athens.

Effective from 14 July 2025, the new partnership builds on the successful interline cooperation between the two carriers and significantly enhances Etihad’s network across the Greek islands and the wider region.

Through this agreement, Etihad will add its flight code to SKY express services operating beyond Athens, offering smooth connectivity to top island destinations such as Crete, Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, and Kos, as well as other popular locations like Corfu, Paros, and Thessaloniki.

Arik De, Etihad Airways’ Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, stated, “Our partnership with SKY express opens up exciting opportunities for travellers to explore Greece beyond its capital. Their extensive island route network is an ideal complement to our Athens service, enabling our guests to enjoy convenient access to some of the Mediterranean’s most stunning locations with a single booking.”

SKY express’s Chief Commercial Officer, Gerasimos Skaltsas, added, “This collaboration with Etihad represents a strong endorsement of SKY express and strengthens our role as a trusted airline partner while significantly improving our regional connectivity.”
