emirates7 - The loading of the eighth UAE aid vessel, Khalifa, began today at Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi. Once fully loaded, the ship will head to Egypt’s Al Arish Port to prepare for the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip.

The ship is transporting a large shipment of humanitarian and relief supplies intended to ease the hardships faced by civilians and provide essential aid amid difficult conditions in the region.

Among the supplies are various food items, including ready-to-eat meals and ingredients to support community kitchens and field bakeries. The cargo also contains shelter-related items such as tents, relief kits, clothing, mattresses, and hygiene products for both families and children.

Additionally, the shipment includes a fully equipped field hospital offering a range of medical services, as well as ambulances, vital medicines, medical equipment, and water tankers to provide clean drinking water to affected areas.
