emirates7 - The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, blends Emirati cultural traditions with innovative elements to new business opportunities, engage people of all ages, and showcase adventure and outdoor lifestyles.
Organized for the first time by Capital Events, the event management division of ADNEC Group, in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, this prestigious exhibition, which has a legacy of over two decades, will take place from August 31 to September 8, 2024, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Attendees at ADIHEX can experience a vibrant mix of cultural exhibits, traditional performances, and live historical displays that celebrate the UAE’s heritage. The event caters to both hunting and equestrian enthusiasts and those interested in the region’s cultural legacy.
A major highlight is the Falcon Auction, which underscores the UAE’s leadership in captive-breeding falcons and its role in wildlife conservation. The auction features a variety of falcons suitable for both beginners and seasoned falconers. For the first time, ADIHEX will offer online bidding for premium falcons, with a special viewing area at the event.
Another feature is the "Vaulting with Dhabian Equestrian Club" show, showcasing the unique equestrian discipline of horseback vaulting.
The Arabian Horse Society will present “Tshouleeb” and the “Horse Beauty Handler’s Competition” at ADIHEX. Tshouleeb will feature traditional Arabian Bedouin chanting performed by riders on purebred Arabian horses. The Horse Beauty Handler’s Competition will highlight the elegance of Arabian horses and the skill of their handlers in the ring.
From September 2 to September 8, the “Liberty Equestrian Display” will captivate audiences by presenting horses without any tack or restraints, allowing them to move freely and naturally. This display emphasizes the bond between horse and handler and showcases the horses’ natural beauty and abilities.
Additionally, the “Historical Battle and Archery on Horseback” display will feature Mamluk Archery and Kaber Stables, demonstrating traditional Ottoman battle scenes and archery skills.
This year’s ADIHEX promises the most diverse range of shows and performances yet, including dynamic live acts, thrilling competitions, and fascinating heritage and sports displays. Visitors will also have opportunities to network with industry experts, explore and purchase hunting merchandise, and connect with leading manufacturers and suppliers.
