Sharjah Islamic Forum to launch 25th scholarly session on June 21

emirates7 - Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Islamic Forum (SIF) has announced the commencement of its 25th annual scholarly session, titled"And Allah teaches you." The event will take place at Al-Maghfirah Mosque from 21 June to 3 July 2025, featuring the participation of prominent Islamic scholars.

During a press conference held on Tuesday, the Forum outlined the session’s agenda, emphasizing its mission to promote authentic Islamic teachings and deepen religious and cultural awareness in the community.

Dr. Majid Bushalibi, Secretary-General of the Forum, emphasized that this session has become a key tradition in Sharjah, known for its commitment to moderation and for offering a secure, trustworthy space for learning. He stated that preparations are complete, including the selection of topics, coordination with guest scholars, and the release of a special book compiling the course materials.

Dr. Mohammed Nour Al-Din Al-Anis, Head of the Scientific Committee, elaborated on the significance of this year’s theme, which underscores the connection between faith, knowledge, and divine instruction. He highlighted that the curriculum and participating scholars were carefully chosen to reflect this theme and offer a meaningful educational experience for seekers of knowledge.

In parallel, the Media and Technical Committee unveiled several initiatives designed to encourage wider community participation. Committee Head Saif Yousif Ali announced the rollout of a comprehensive promotional campaign across both traditional and digital media, carried out in partnership with local organizations.

To support public access, the Forum is providing daily transportation services to Al-Maghfirah Mosque from selected pickup locations. Additionally, a daily competition with valuable prizes will be held to boost engagement.
