Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, IAT sign partnership agreement

emirates7 - Sheikha Nour bint Fahim Al Qasimi, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, has lauded the leadership of the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Educational and Training (ACTVET) in the field of social responsibility.

She also praised the institute’s efforts to encourage student leaders to positively interact with the community and help achieve the aspirations of the UAE’s leadership to enhance community solidarity and ensure the country’s prosperity.

She made this statement while signing a partnership agreement with Dr. Ahmad Abdul Mannan Al Awar, Director General of IAT, aimed at offering joint social humanitarian services.

The agreement will help support the work and strategy of the foundation, which aims to fulfil the wishes of child patients, Sheikha Nour said, adding, "I am confident that the agreement between the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the IAT represents a key milestone in the activities of the foundation."

Dr. Al Awar said the institute’s cooperation with the foundation will play a key role in raising the country’s humanitarian spirit, stressing that the IAT’s employees will exert all possible efforts to promote human giving and cooperate with the foundation to make children happy.
