emirates7 - The fourth edition of the Global Business Forum Latin America 2022 will witness the participation of a number of presidents, prime ministers, and ministers from Latin America and the Caribbean region.
Organised by Dubai Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the two-day forum will take place on 23rd and 24th March 2022 under the theme "Towards a Resilient Future". The event aims to examine synergies between the UAE and the Latin America and Caribbean region and explore new avenues of cooperation.
Among the dignitaries who will be addressing the forum are Jair Messias Bolsonaro, President of Brazil; Iván Duque Márquez, President of Colombia; Ariel Henry, Prime Minister of Haiti; among others.
Speakers from the UAE include Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers; Sultan bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World; Hamad Buamim, President and CEO of Dubai Chamber, and Fahad Al Gergawi, CEO of Dubai Investment Development Agency.
Interactive sessions and discussions are structured around the event’s three pillars: Reform, Empower and Grow, which are designed to tackle timely issues such regional trade integration, tax reforms and new policies to drive foreign investment and trade, digital economy tends and bilateral business opportunities that can drive sustainable growth in the post-COVID-19 era.
