Partly cloudy skies and extreme heat across the country

emirates7 - The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert warning of intense heat across the UAE today, with inland areas expected to see temperatures soaring between 44°C and 49°C.

Coastal zones and islands will also face high temperatures, ranging from 37°C to 42°C, while mountainous areas are predicted to reach between 32°C and 38°C.

The sky will be partly to occasionally cloudy, with low clouds expected to form along the eastern coastline. Humid conditions are likely to develop overnight and continue into Monday morning, especially along coastal areas, which may heighten discomfort levels.

Winds will be light to moderate, coming from the southwest to northwest at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 35 km/h. The Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to experience slight sea conditions.

Authorities urge residents to stay well-hydrated, limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours, and adhere to heat safety precautions.
