'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3' delivers new medical aid to Gaza

emirates7 - As part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” the United Arab Emirates has sent a new shipment of emergency medical aid to healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip, in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO).

This aid package is intended to ease the deepening health crisis in Gaza, where there is an acute shortage of medicines and medical supplies.

Delivered through the Emirati field hospital in southern Gaza, the assistance included substantial quantities of essential medications, critical medical supplies, and specialised items for paediatric care.

The shipment also comprised 150 fully equipped hospital beds and six field tents designed to set up temporary medical units. These units aim to reduce the strain on existing hospitals, many of which have suffered extensive damage or are no longer operational.

This humanitarian effort comes at a time when Gaza’s healthcare system is on the brink of collapse due to widespread destruction of medical infrastructure and disrupted access to pharmaceuticals. The crisis has put thousands of patients—particularly children, the wounded, and those with chronic conditions—at significant risk.

"Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" places strong emphasis on bolstering Gaza’s healthcare system, reflecting the UAE’s leadership’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and addressing their urgent humanitarian needs—especially in the severely impacted health sector.

This latest delivery is part of an ongoing series of UAE-led relief initiatives under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which continues to deliver timely and meaningful aid to address the critical challenges facing Gaza’s health system.
