Arabian Horse Race to kick off tomorrow in Al Dhafra

emirates7 - The Liwa Sports Club is set to host the fifth Arabian Horse Race tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Zayed City racetrack in Al Dhafra. The event will feature two competitive rounds, each covering 1,400 meters, and is expected to draw a large audience of spectators.

This race is part of the club’s ongoing horse racing season, which includes a total of ten events scheduled to run until the season concludes. The series aims to elevate the stature of equestrian sports in the region and provide a dynamic platform for riders and horses from across the UAE to compete.

Sultan Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at Liwa Sports Club, expressed pride in the success of previous races, highlighting the club’s dedication to advancing equestrian sports and hosting high-caliber professional events. “The fifth race marks a key milestone this season, and we strive to attract greater participation and viewership while solidifying the club’s reputation as a premier sports hub in the region,” Al Mazrouei stated.

He further noted that the season’s calendar of ten races serves as a platform to promote purebred Arabian horse racing and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the sport, aligning with the club’s vision and long-term objectives.
