Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi meets UAE team at 17th BRICS Summit

emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met with the UAE delegation participating in the 17th BRICS Summit, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 6–7 July 2025.

At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Khaled welcomed the delegation, led by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Trade Affairs and the UAE Sherpa to BRICS. He commended their efforts in ensuring the success of the UAE’s second participation in the summit since joining BRICS in 2023.

Sheikh Khaled also conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and extended his best wishes to the team for their continued contributions to strengthening the UAE’s international presence.

The Crown Prince reviewed key developments regarding the UAE’s involvement in BRICS meetings and discussed ongoing strategies to boost cooperation with member states in areas such as trade, investment, and the economy.

He emphasized the significance of the UAE playing an active and influential role within the group, in alignment with the country’s leadership vision and forward-looking strategy. This approach aims to foster balanced, sustainable global partnerships and solidify the UAE’s position as a leading economic hub on the world stage.
