Hamburg to host seventh round of UAE President's Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses

emirates7 - The UAE President's Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses is set to continue its prestigious presence on major European tracks, with the seventh round of its 32nd edition scheduled for tomorrow at the Horner Rennbahn racecourse in Hamburg, Germany.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the series underscores the UAE’s ongoing dedication to supporting horse owners and breeders worldwide. It also aims to promote the appreciation and care of Arabian horses, preserving their rich heritage while boosting their international reputation and contributing to the advancement of the global Arabian horse racing scene.

This edition marks the debut of the race in Hamburg under its new format, aligning with the historic 156th running of the German Derby. The decision reflects the organising committee’s strategy to host the series at high-profile events and renowned racecourses, further cementing the legacy and international standing of Arabian horse racing in line with the prestige of the President's Cup.

The 1,600-metre turf race, designated as a Group 2 event for horses aged four and older, has drawn elite stables from Germany and across Europe, offering a total prize pool of €250,000.
