UAE National Guard conducts 347 rescues in six months

emirates7 - The UAE National Guard Command reported conducting 347 rescue missions—both on land and at sea, within the country and abroad—during the first half of 2025.

These operations reflect the Guard’s continued commitment to enhancing the nation’s emergency response capabilities and improving the preparedness of search and rescue teams across the UAE.

Official data shows that the National Search and Rescue Center carried out 218 missions, including 63 search, rescue, and medical evacuation operations, 18 domestic air ambulance transfers, and 13 international medical and airlift missions.

Meanwhile, the Coast Guard Unit completed 129 search and rescue operations in the waters of the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

The National Guard Command emphasized that these efforts align with its dedication to delivering effective emergency services during the “Year of the Community.”

Equipped with advanced technology and tools, the teams are able to respond swiftly to various emergencies, ensuring the protection of lives across different environments.
