emirates7 - Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Thai Chamber of Commerce to strengthen trade and economic ties between the two regions. The agreement focuses on expanding investment opportunities, particularly in sectors such as energy, digital economy, agriculture, tourism, and hospitality.
The MoU includes provisions for the exchange of delegations and trade missions, sharing knowledge and expertise, and collaborating on exhibitions and business events in both Dubai and Thailand. Additionally, the agreement aims to enhance efforts in arbitration to address commercial disputes between businesses from both markets.
The MoU was signed by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Dr. Visit Limlurcha, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Lootah emphasized Dubai Chambers' commitment to expanding international partnerships to boost Dubai's trade and investment relations, creating growth opportunities for companies in various markets, and solidifying Dubai’s position as a global business hub. This MoU supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to double the emirate’s economy over the next decade and establish Dubai among the top three global cities.
