UAE, Korea strengthen cooperation in public oversight, integrity

emirates7 - A delegation from the UAE's Accountability Authority (UAEAA) has recently completed an official visit to the Republic of Korea, focusing on strengthening collaboration in public oversight, auditing, and anti-corruption efforts.

During the visit, Humaid Obaid Abushibs, Chairman of the UAEAA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Choe Jaehyoeng, Chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection of the Republic of Korea (BAI). This agreement represents a significant advancement in institutional cooperation between the two organizations.

Abushibs also engaged in discussions with senior officials in South Korea, including Ryu Chul Whan, Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, to explore potential areas for future collaboration and the exchange of expertise in their respective fields.
