Fujairah Crown Prince attends 12th Energy Markets Forum

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, highlighted Fujairah's essential role in supporting global energy markets and reaffirmed the Emirate's position as a key economic hub for international companies in the sector during the closing ceremony of the 12th Energy Markets Forum.

The forum, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, was organized by the Port of Fujairah and Gulf Intelligence.

Among the attendees were H.H. Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation; Sheikh Sultan bin Saleh Al Sharqi, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, along with several other officials.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad emphasized Fujairah's global importance in the oil services and energy sectors, attributing this to the continued support and vision of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi. He highlighted that the Emirate's forward-thinking initiatives and the promotion of international investment opportunities have significantly strengthened its competitive edge in the sector. This commitment is vital to Fujairah's development and the overall economic progress of the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed also praised the forum's goals, which demonstrate Fujairah's resilience in adapting to global changes and its significant contribution to the UAE's economic growth. He stressed the importance of continued collaboration and partnerships across key sectors to drive climate action and sustainable energy solutions.

He noted that the forum's discussions, which involved global industry leaders, experts, and decision-makers, were aimed at shaping international policies and developing solutions to the current challenges facing the energy sector.
