emirates7 - Ajman University has reached a significant global achievement by placing within the 301–400 range in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025, which evaluate universities based on their contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This respected international ranking features 2,526 universities from 130 countries around the world.

On the national front, Ajman University made impressive strides, climbing three spots to secure 4th place among UAE universities compared to its 2024 ranking.

The university showed outstanding results across multiple SDGs. It ranked 16th globally and topped the UAE rankings for SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — the only compulsory SDG for all institutions participating in the Impact Rankings. This goal requires universities to provide a detailed report on their overall impact across all SDGs.

Furthermore, Ajman University improved its global standing from the Top 400 to the Top 200 for SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing, where it also holds the 1st position nationally. The university also maintained its place within the Top 200 worldwide for SDG 13: Climate Action, continuing to lead UAE institutions in this domain.
