emirates7 - An earthquake of magnitude 6 struck near the north coast of Papua New Guinea on Thursday, Reuters reported, citing the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).

The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said.
