emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the Ministerial Development Council meeting held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. During the session, the Council examined several important reports and updates on the progress of various government programs and initiatives.

The agenda featured discussions on proposed regulatory decisions concerning donation policies, the tax system, and government services.

Additionally, the Council reviewed updates on the implementation of policies and programs related to national housing, education, the labor market, food safety, climate change, and environmental conservation. They also evaluated the accomplishments of the “Make it in the Emirates” initiative.

Reports from ministries and federal entities on enhancing the efficiency of the federal government sector were considered.

In matters of governmental work, the Council reviewed recommendations from the Federal National Council aimed at improving public sector employee performance and strengthening the role of government media in safeguarding national identity.

The meeting also addressed requests from the Federal National Council concerning government efforts to enhance the quality of life for People of Determination and promote their inclusion in education and employment.
