emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, received His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries who were attending the 49th Extraordinary Meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council, hosted in Qatar.

During the meeting, the participants explored ways to enhance joint Gulf cooperation and exchanged perspectives on significant regional and global issues of common interest. Discussions focused on maintaining regional security and stability, as well as reaffirming the importance of resolving challenges through diplomatic and peaceful means.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Emir of Qatar, along with his best wishes for Qatar’s continued peace, stability, prosperity, and development.

In return, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani extended his greetings to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished the United Arab Emirates and its people ongoing progress and prosperity.
