emirates7 - The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) has marked the graduation of 23 of its personnel from the 32nd International Rescue and Command Course (RCC), held at the Civil Defence Academy in Singapore—renowned globally for its excellence in firefighting and civil protection training.
A delegation headed by Colonel Mohammed Nukhaira Saleh Al Mazrouei, along with several of the graduates’ family members, attended the ceremony in Singapore.
ADCDA reiterated its commitment to developing national talent in line with top international standards, describing it as a core element of its strategy to boost readiness and elevate the efficiency of the civil defence system across all levels.
The Authority affirmed its dedication to implementing global best practices to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s status as one of the safest and most well-prepared cities in managing emergencies and complex challenges.
It further highlighted that this achievement marks a significant step in cultivating specialised leaders capable of keeping pace with evolving developments in civil protection. This progress contributes to improved operational capabilities, institutional excellence, and the promotion of innovation — all essential for building a proactive, professional, and resilient safety system.
The 28-week course offered in-depth training that blended theory and hands-on experience across key areas such as firefighting, rescue missions, hazardous materials handling, fire investigation, search and rescue, incident management, and other crucial fields — all aimed at preparing participants for leadership positions.
At the graduation ceremony, student Mohammed Abdulqader Al Shatari Al Hashemi was honoured with the Best International Student Award, recognising his outstanding academic achievement and practical skills.
