MoFA launches inaugural Customer Council for accredited diplomatic missions in UAE

emirates7 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), reaffirming its commitment to delivering exceptional services, has launched its first Customer Council for accredited diplomatic missions in the UAE for 2025.

Organised in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office, the event was attended by Omar Obaid AlHesan AlShamsi, Undersecretary of MoFA, and Mohamed Rashid bin Taliah, Head of Government Services for the UAE Government, along with ambassadors, mission leaders, and senior officials from the ministry.

MoFA emphasised that these Customer Councils provide a strategic and interactive platform for engaging customers in the co-design and evaluation of government services. This participatory approach underscores the ministry’s dedication to listening to customer feedback, understanding their experiences, and transforming challenges into opportunities for improved service development.

The initiative supports national efforts to build a more agile and responsive government and aligns with the UAE Government Services Excellence Programme and the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme. These councils also help showcase the UAE’s innovative service delivery model on a global stage.

The Customer Council for diplomatic missions showcased MoFA’s modernised service frameworks that simplify traditional processes. These integrated systems include services such as official delegation visit requests, diplomatic immunities and privileges, and international legal cooperation.

By actively engaging with stakeholders, the Ministry’s Customer Councils aim to strengthen partnerships and gather valuable feedback. All suggestions and proposals are carefully reviewed and incorporated into solutions that meet international best practices and standards.
