emirates7 - The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) has launched the "Investor Statement" initiative to increase investor awareness and improve the investment climate in the emirate.
This project is a key step in aligning Ajman’s business environment with the Ajman Vision 2030 for a sustainable economy. It provides investors with regular electronic reports that include detailed information on their licenses and permits, such as their legal and administrative status, notifications, and fines. This enables better follow-up and supports informed decision-making.
Part of the DED’s broader strategic development plan, the "Investor Statement" project aims to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering proactive, high-quality services. It is expected to help reduce the number of unrenewed licenses and facilitate the prompt payment of fines.
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamdan Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of the Commercial Registration Department, explained, “The 'Investor Statement' project is a crucial step in improving Ajman’s investment environment and boosting economic competitiveness. This initiative enables investors to easily and transparently track all the details of their licenses and permits, thereby fostering business sustainability and promoting economic growth.”
He also added, "This project embodies our strategic vision of providing services that meet investor needs and expectations, as well as enhancing compliance with regulations and ensuring licenses are updated regularly. We anticipate that it will improve operational efficiency, increase revenue, and solidify Ajman’s position as a leading investment destination."
Al Nuaimi further emphasized that the project is being carried out in line with top-quality standards, supported by DED leadership, and in collaboration with relevant departments to provide an innovative service that benefits all stakeholders.
