MoFA, National Guard carry out air ambulance mission for injured Emiratis in Oman

emirates7 - A coordinated rescue mission, led by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in collaboration with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, the Air Force and Air Defence Command, and the UAE Embassy in Muscat, successfully airlifted Emirati citizens injured in a fatal road accident in Oman back to the UAE. The tragic incident caused multiple injuries and fatalities.

Working closely with Omani authorities, the injured individuals were transported via air ambulance to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Fujairah, where they are continuing their treatment after receiving initial care in Oman.

MoFA and the National Guard extended their heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and expressed wishes for a swift recovery to those injured.

MoFA also praised the vital cooperation of Omani officials, whose efforts and support for the UAE Embassy in Muscat played a key role in the successful completion of the airlift operation.

The Ministry urged UAE nationals to remain vigilant when travelling by road, emphasizing the importance of following traffic regulations and speed limits to protect their own safety and that of others.
