Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed updates on recent government initiatives in the emirate, examining reports on the activities of various government departments and agencies. They also assessed the progress of ongoing development projects across different cities and regions.
The Council discussed proposals for creating a training and qualification program for job seekers in Sharjah, an initiative under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This program aims to equip job seekers with essential skills and development opportunities to help them secure appropriate employment.
Additionally, the Council reviewed a report on the implementation of Council Resolution No. 19 of 2022, which focuses on providing medical and dental care services to elderly citizens in Sharjah. This initiative aims to protect the elderly from dental and oral health issues. The report provided details on the service’s delivery and statistics, showing that over 16,000 senior citizens in Sharjah have benefited from the dental health insurance service since its implementation.
