emirates7 - Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, welcomed Lutfey Siddiqi, Special Envoy to the Chief Adviser (Prime Minister) of Bangladesh, at his Majlis in Abu Dhabi. Siddiqi is visiting the UAE to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
At the start of their meeting, Sheikh Nahyan praised the deep and strategic ties between the UAE and Bangladesh, which were originally established by the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He highlighted that these strong relations continue to grow under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whose vision is based on openness, constructive cooperation, mutual respect, and advancing shared interests.
Sheikh Nahyan pointed out that the bilateral relationship is making significant progress in various sectors, demonstrating a mutual commitment to deepen and broaden their partnership.
Lutfey Siddiqi expressed gratitude for the warm reception and praised the UAE’s leading role in supporting sustainable development both regionally and internationally, as well as its dedication to coexistence, moderation, and cultural openness. He stressed that Bangladesh values its relationship with the UAE and that his visit aims to expand practical cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
