UAE President meets with heads of state, delegation leaders at COP29 in Azerbaijan

emirates7 - President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions today with several heads of state and delegation leaders on the sidelines of the COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan.

His Highness held individual meetings with His Excellency Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, President of Mauritania; His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Türkiye; His Excellency Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary; and Her Excellency Željka Cvijanović, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the UAE and these nations across various sectors, including clean energy, sustainability, and climate initiatives, exploring ways to further enhance these partnerships.

Talks also addressed the objectives of the COP29 conference, with all parties highlighting the significance of sustained partnerships and international cooperation in advancing climate action.

His Highness reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering commitment to accelerating global efforts to combat climate change and fostering international collaboration to build a climate-resilient future for all.
