emirates7 - Representatives from Indian and Korean companies participating in Expand North Star 2024 have highlighted Dubai's esteemed status as a global hub for entrepreneurs, known for transforming innovative ideas into successful projects and launching digital startups worldwide.

Participants from both nations praised Expand North Star as an exceptional platform for networking with investors, clients, and potential partners, sharing expertise, and learning about effective models for developing advanced digital technologies.

The event also offers valuable insights into how to establish and scale startups into billion-dollar 'unicorn' companies.

This year's Korean pavilion features over 100 startups specializing in various fields, including artificial intelligence and deep technology. These companies are showcasing a wide range of solutions, from AI voice cloning to digital dentistry and educational technology.

Indian tech startups, on the other hand, presented innovative solutions in areas such as robotics, employee engagement platforms, training technologies, and software and IT solutions. The Indian startup ecosystem is recognized for its dynamism, strong capacity to attract significant investment, focus on growth and profitability, and adoption of cutting-edge technologies like AI.

Seungho Lee, Head of Marketing at Braindeck, an AI voice cloning service, praised the UAE's cultural and investment openness. He pointed out that Dubai's business incubators and specialized free zones are significant attractions for Korean companies. “This welcoming environment, along with the success of Korean giants like Samsung and LG in Dubai, further solidifies the city's appeal as a prime destination for Korean startups,” Lee remarked.

Adviteey Mehaindroo, CEO of Zinkus, a robotics company making its third appearance at Expand North Star, emphasized that Dubai's thriving tourism industry drives the adoption of robotics and AI. "Dubai's receptive market has allowed us to secure orders," Mehaindroo noted, underscoring the city's potential for further business growth.

Chiranjeevi Aneel Kumar Bonu, Founder and CEO of TalentSpotify, an AI-powered employee engagement platform, praised Dubai's diverse population, ease of doing business, and commitment to innovation as key factors in their decision to launch in the city.
