emirates7 - The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that weather maps a low-pressure system forming south of the Arabian Sea, near the western coast of India. This system is expected to intensify into a tropical depression and move towards the central Arabian Sea on October 14th and 15th.
The NCM noted that the accuracy of predictions regarding the depression's strength and path will improve as it develops. There are two possible tracks for the tropical depression: one heading west towards the central Arabian Sea and then to central Oman’s coasts, and the other moving west-southwest towards the central Arabian Sea and eventually to Socotra.
As tropical events can change rapidly, the NCM is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as new developments arise.
