emirates7 - The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) will present a series of digital transformation initiatives at GITEX Global 2024, taking place from 14th to 18th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Participating in the DGOV Stand, the ministry aims to highlight its adoption of digital solutions and AI to improve services, enhance customer experience, and strengthen the UAE’s global leadership in government services and the digital economy.
Through interactive displays, MoHRE will showcase its smart app, which provides a wide range of services for establishments, employees, and domestic workers, allowing them to manage transactions securely and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality. The app also keeps employers informed about the status of their facilities and workers, helps them avoid fines, educates workers on their rights and duties, and facilitates direct communication with the ministry.
Additionally, MoHRE will introduce the Work Bundle, a product of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, designed to streamline services in partnership with other entities by reducing procedures and requirements.
Another feature on display is the Labour Market Observatory, which offers periodic data on UAE labour market indicators in both Arabic and English. The ministry will also present its Labour Market Simulation Model, an AI-based interactive platform for data analysts and specialists to test and design policies by simulating their effects on the labour market.
Moreover, the ministry will showcase its AI-driven Quota Distribution System, aimed at improving the process of allocating work permit quotas by speeding up decisions and reducing bureaucracy, while minimizing human error and inefficiencies.
Visitors can explore the Automated Approval Project, a technology designed to automate routine processes by mimicking human actions in digital systems, enhancing efficiency through the blend of human creativity and machine precision.
The ministry will also display its E-authorisation service, which allows employers to access services without the need for a traditional e-signature card.
In line with its digital transformation strategy, MoHRE is the first federal body to fully migrate its systems and services to the federal cloud network infrastructure (FedNet) at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).
The ministry continues to engage with its customers via its website, WhatsApp, and the Nafis programme app, contributing to the significant rise of Emiratis employed in the private sector.
