emirates7 - The sixth edition of the Ethraa Career Fair in the financial and banking sector is scheduled for October 7-8, 2024, offering citizens—both men and women—promising job opportunities within the financial sector and aiming to boost Emiratisation in this crucial industry for the nation's future economy.

The two-day event, organized by the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF) in partnership with the Sharjah Human Resources Department, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Expo Center Sharjah, will be held at Expo Center Sharjah. It will feature over 100 leading banks and financial institutions from across the country.

The fair aims to present more than 700 job opportunities for young people with high school diplomas and bachelor’s degrees in business administration, economics, accounting, and information technology.

As part of the broader Ethraa initiative, this sixth edition is focused on supporting the Emiratisation push in the financial, banking, and insurance sectors, with a goal to 9,375 jobs by 2026-2027. The initiative seeks to enhance employment prospects for Emirati citizens and involve them in shaping the future of these critical economic sectors, while also empowering youth and leveraging their skills as essential contributors to sustainable development.
