This award aims to encourage educational research across the Arab world, highlighting exemplary practices that enhance learning.
This year, the award has attracted 154 research submissions from 11 Arab nations, with Saudi Arabia leading with 103 papers, followed by Egypt with 17 and the UAE with 16. Other participating countries include Jordan, Kuwait, and Oman, reflecting a regional commitment to educational innovation.
Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General and CEO of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, noted the increase in submissions, stating, “The significant rise this year demonstrates the dedication of educational researchers across the Arab world to improving the quality of education.”
He emphasized the award’s mission to stimulate creative thinking in educational research and develop innovative solutions to the sector's pressing challenges. "We look forward to seeing these research efforts contribute to the creation of robust, sustainable educational systems that support the future of learning in the Arab region,” he added.
The Hamdan-ALECSO Award serves as a prominent platform for recognizing institutions and individuals for their outstanding contributions to education.
