emirates7 - BEEAH, a leading sustainability organization in the region, recently celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of its Future Leadership Programme, a nine-month initiative designed to cultivate future leaders within the company.
The graduation ceremony, held at BEEAH's headquarters, recognized the achievements of 20 participants who completed the programme and received certificates.
Co-developed with Emeritus, a globally recognized leader in executive education, the Future Leadership Programme is part of BEEAH’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability, and growth. The programme, which runs annually, includes 14 comprehensive modules covering key leadership skills such as emotional intelligence, managing organizational change, using analytics for strategic decisions, leading high-performance teams, and staying up-to-date with Industry 4.0 developments.
The participants underwent a rigorous nine-month training process, which included 300 hours of classroom instruction and over 100 hours of online learning.
Khaled Al Huraimel, BEEAH’s Group CEO and Vice-Chairman, highlighted that the initiative aligns with the company's mission to promote innovation and leadership, creating an environment where new ideas can thrive.
Adey Zaghab, Executive Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa at Emeritus, expressed pride in being part of the successful programme, attributing its success to the collaboration between BEEAH, the dedicated participants, expert faculty, and the global business schools involved.
Hind Al Huwaidi, BEEAH's Chief Executive Development Officer, emphasized the intention to enhance the programme through strategic partnerships and extend it to a broader range of participants.
The training combined theoretical and practical learning through interactive simulations and culminated in a group-based capstone project. Participants were tasked with developing innovative solutions to challenges aligned with BEEAH’s future goals, such as the future of waste management and integrating technology to achieve net-zero urban environments.
Throughout the programme, mentoring sessions were held to support the capstone projects, and the participants demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking in their presentations.
Thanks to the collaboration with Emeritus, participants also had access to resources from prestigious institutions like MIT, Columbia Business School, Tuck Executive Education, and NUS Business School. Among the 20 senior executives who graduated, the programme received a 95% satisfaction rate.
