Major General Al Sharifi emphasized the importance of enhanced cooperation with government agencies to achieve strategic goals and future aspirations. He noted that the MoU will improve environmental protection efforts and help meet sustainability objectives by ensuring adherence to environmental laws and regulations.
Dr. Shaikha Al Dhaheri highlighted that the MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between EAD and Abu Dhabi Police, activate joint environmental initiatives, and contribute to environmental security and community prosperity, reflecting the Abu Dhabi government's directives.
The partnership will establish mechanisms to address legal violations, leverage the expertise of both parties, and enhance environmental protection capabilities. A joint platform will be created to tackle key environmental challenges, improve control measures, and raise public awareness through campaigns. The implementation of smart monitoring systems and a comprehensive training plan for relevant authorities will further support these efforts.
