emirates7 - Al Ain Zoo s launched its "Noqta - A Drop" programme series under the theme, "Here, the story begins" yesterday morning. The programme will host a number of influential people with amazing success stories, whose inspirational experiences can make a real difference on a personal and professional level.
The Noqta programme comes high on the list of the Zoo's priorities in events, activities and initiatives, as it promotes social responsibility in both speakers and attendees, especially the youth and younger generations who have a pivotal role in developing the country at all levels.
The programme kicked off with the story of Dr. Aisha bint Butti bin Bishr, Vice Chairman of the Emaar Development Board, where she spoke about her career, experiences and the challenges she faced, and where she found support during her journey.
The session was held in the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre and was attended by Mohammed Hamdan Al Alawi, Chief Support Services, and a number of executives, department directors and Zoo staff, in addition to representatives of a number of government entities, Zoo visitors and media representatives.

She is also among the world's pioneer women in business and technology, the only woman in the Middle East to be a member of the Gartner Research Board, and is listed in the Forbes Middle East Top 10 Businesswomen list, having held many high positions throughout her career and received many awards at the local and international levels.
