China reports first two COVID-19 deaths in more than a year

emirates7 - China reported on Saturday two COVID-19 deaths, its first in more than a year, bringing the country's total death toll to 4,638, the National Health Commission said.

Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted the National Health Commission as saying that the number of new COVID-19 cases stood at 2,157 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases so far to 128,462.
