emirates7 - Saudi Arabia’s Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has unveiled its official operational plan for the 1447 AH Umrah season, aiming to elevate the spiritual journey of millions of pilgrims and visitors.
The plan was introduced during a ceremony at the Presidency’s headquarters in Mecca and is intended to ensure a seamless and meaningful religious experience for all.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, stated that the 1447 AH Umrah season will prioritize service and focus on enriching pilgrims’ spiritual and worship experiences.
He highlighted the significance of enhanced collaboration between government bodies and strategic partners to achieve cohesive and effective execution of the plan.
Spanning eight months, the plan will be implemented in three phases and will continue until the end of Sha’ban 1447 AH, after which a separate operational strategy for Ramadan will be put into effect.
Saudi Arabia resumed issuing Umrah visas on June 10, followed by the launch of Nusuk permit applications on June 11.
