Sharjah Economic Development Department evaluates 'Ruwad' projects

emirates7 - Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), reviewed the progress of the "Digital Warehouses" project under the Ruwad initiative following its participation in the Global Startup Festival COMEUP in Seoul, Korea.

During a meeting at the department's headquarters, the management team of "Digital Warehouses" provided Al Mahmoud with an overview of the project's services, products, and objectives for their international engagement. The meeting emphasized the project's successful marketing efforts, including the establishment of a partnership with Korean counterparts aimed at attracting leading Korean e-commerce companies to establish operations in Sharjah, UAE.

Al Mahmoud expressed satisfaction with the achievements of Ruwad-affiliated entrepreneurial ventures, noting their significant impact on enhancing Sharjah's entrepreneurial ecosystem. He underscored the potential of these projects to attract investments and forge international partnerships, highlighting the pivotal role of Emirati entrepreneurs in advancing Sharjah's economic goals.
