FBMA International Show Jumping Cup concludes

emirates7 - The 12th Fatima Bint Mubarak International Show Jumping Cup concluded on Sunday with a thrilling finale, showcasing the newly introduced National category. This addition aimed to support female riders and strengthen the role of women in jumping at the national level.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (Mother of the Nation), Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, the event was guided by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy and Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Ladies Clubs.

A standout moment of the final day was the One Round with Jump-Off event (140 cm), featuring a grand prize of AED55,000. Nina Carolina Barbour claimed victory, clocking an impressive 71.70 seconds in the first round and an outstanding 37.99 seconds in the jump-off. Her remarkable performance earned her the top spot, while Sheikha Latifa Ahmed Al Maktoum and Nadia Abdulaziz Taryam finished in second and third places, respectively, delivering an exhilarating conclusion to the competition.

Earlier in the day, Aya Safieddine excelled in the One Round Against the Clock event (120–125 cm), securing a prize of AED30,000 with a swift and precise time of 59.12 seconds.

Awards in the local category were presented by Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Khori, representing the Presidential Court, and Saeed Al Mehairi from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

Now in its 12th year, the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Show Jumping Cup has firmly established itself as a premier equestrian event in the region. It continues to nurture local talent while enhancing Abu Dhabi’s status as a global center for equestrian excellence.
