Arabian horses constitute integral part of Arab heritage: Zayed bin Hamad

emirates7 - Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, emphasized that Arabian horses are a vital part of Arab history and heritage, having significantly influenced various aspects of social and economic life over the centuries.

He made this statement during the 7th International Arabian Horse Championship, hosted at the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Centre in Riyadh under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan commended the championship and lauded the outstanding organization by the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Centre.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Saud, President of the Arabian Horse Organisation; Prince Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Equestrian Federation; Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director-General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, along with other prominent officials from Saudi Arabia.

The championship, one of the largest in Saudi Arabia, featured 451 participating horses from 240 owners representing several countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and the USA.
