emirates7 - The Executive Council of the Asian Racing Federation (ARF) has selected the UAE to represent the Federation on the Horse Welfare Committee of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA).
This decision was made during the ARF Executive Council meeting in Hong Kong, which saw the UAE delegation, led by Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, General Manager and Board Member of the Emirates Racing Authority and Vice-Chair of the Asian Racing Federation, in attendance.
The council discussed ways to enhance horse welfare and safety practices, improve the organization of races across Asia, and develop racing infrastructure. They also emphasized the importance of increasing cooperation among members to achieve sustainable objectives.
