Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Committee, reported a significant rise in registrations, with nearly 9,000 participants of all ages signing up for the run.

With a total prize pool of AED 1.5 million, the event’s proceeds will support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, aiming to raise awareness, provide assistance to those affected by multiple sclerosis, and contribute to finding a cure.

Participants have been encouraged to complete their registrations ahead of the official list's release.

The event will kick off at 7:00 am with a 10 km race for People of Determination, followed by the 10 km professional race at 7:05 am. Additional categories will take place throughout the morning, and an awards ceremony to honour the winners is scheduled for 9:00 am.

To facilitate participant access, parking and shuttle services will operate from Wahat Al Karama between 4:00 and 5:30 am and from Zayed Sports City between 4:00 and 6:30 am. Roads will close to traffic starting at 6:00 am.

Race packets can be collected from Tuesday to Friday at Erth Abu Dhabi between 5:00 and 10:00 pm. Participants are advised to verify their details and chosen race distance upon collection. Proxy collection is permitted with a valid ID.

Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Al Kaabi commended the efforts of the organising committee, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and all partners in ensuring the event's success. He highlighted the run's significance, rooted in the humanitarian vision of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and praised its role in fostering values of generosity and solidarity to support those in need.
