emirates7 - The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) Board meeting commenced on Monday as part of the FEI General Assembly 2024, held at the Conrad Hotel in Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi.
The meetings, set to conclude on Wednesday, were attended by FEI President Ingmar De Vos, along with officials and federation leaders from the International Federation and the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation.
Sultan Al Yahyai, a Board Member of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, Chairman of the Federation’s Showjumping Committee, and President of FEI Regional Group 7, highlighted the significance of hosting the FEI General Assembly in Abu Dhabi, noting its contribution to strengthening the UAE’s global reputation.
He also shared that the Regional Group 7 meeting covered several agenda items, including preliminary proposals and concepts presented for initial approval by group members. These discussions will be further refined during the annual technical meeting scheduled for early February in Sharjah.
