On October 14, IROS 2024 featured nine tutorial sessions and 31 technical workshops, where researchers, scientists, and academics from universities, research institutions, and leading corporations worldwide engaged in discussions on various aspects of robotics technologies.
The conference also launched several global competitions and challenges on October 14, including the euROBIN Manipulation, the F1 Tenth Autonomous Racing Competition, and the IEEE/RAS Quadruped Robot Challenge (QRC). Additional challenges will take place from October 15 to 16, focusing on themes like robotic physical or athletic intelligence, remote navigation, manipulation, underwater robotics, and perception and sensing.
Among the 13 scheduled forums, the "Robots for Sustainability and Sustainable Robots" forum is set for October 15, while the remaining forums will run from October 16 to 18, with four forums each day.
Exhibits showcasing the latest advancements in sustainable robotics have garnered significant attention at IROS 2024.
