Commando Group secured second place, while Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club finished third.
Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice-Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, stated, "The AJP Tour Dubai International Jiu-Jitsu Championship is a premier global event, drawing top athletes from around the world. The high level of participation reflects their ambition to enhance their rankings and qualify for the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship and the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Awards. These championships also play a crucial role in nurturing local talent by giving our athletes the opportunity to compete against the best."
This marks the second Jiu-Jitsu event hosted by Shabab Al Ahli Club this season, following the Jiu-Jitsu Vice-President’s Cup in June. "Hosting these major international championships at our club is a result of our strong partnership with the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Dubai’s strategic location makes it an ideal venue. We are proud to host this event and collaborate closely with the Federation to ensure its success and meet international standards," Bin Sulaiman said.
Tiago Vargas, coach of M.O.D UAE, remarked, "We are pleased to participate in this well-organized championship. It's a valuable opportunity for our athletes to compete, stay in peak condition, and prepare for the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Our team performed well, placing third on the first day and securing several medals on the second. We brought as many athletes as possible to maximize this opportunity."
