UAE President receives Kuwaiti Crown Prince on sidelines of Jeddah Security and Development Summit
emirates7 - President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit, taking place in Jeddah.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and his wishes for more progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his greetings to the Kuwaiti Amir, wishing Kuwait and its people continuous development and prosperity.

During the meeting, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Mishal discussed UAE-Kuwait relations and ways to enhance them to serve the interests of their countries and peoples, as well as support joint work among GCC countries. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority.

Attendees from the Kuwaiti side included Sheikh Talal Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah, Kuwait's Foreign Minister, and Abdulwahab Al Rashid, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs.
