UAE’s Masdar, Georgia discuss future co-op in renewable energy sector

emirates7 - Masdar, the UAE-based company, also known as Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia discussed the construction of a solar power plant of up to 100 MW, Trend reports via the press service of the Ministry, Trend News Agency reported.

The parties talked about the prospects of future cooperation in renewable energy sector development.

Meanwhile, Georgia’s Energy Development Fund and Masdar signed an agreement regarding the joint development of the solar power plant project on December 29, 2021.

According to the agreement, the parties will carry out technical, commercial, and financial activities for the further development of the solar power plant project, according to Trend News Agency.

Masdar is a global leader in renewable energy and sustainable urban development, developing renewable energy projects in the international market and improving innovation in clean technologies.
