Youth-led 'Emirati District' takes flight at Dubai International

emirates7 - A new hub aimed at empowering young Emirati entrepreneurs has officially opened at Dubai International (DXB).

The 'Emirati District,' launched by the Federal Youth Authority in collaboration with the Fatima bint Mohamed bin Zayed Initiative, is a pivotal project in the first phase of the National Youth Agenda 2031. This initiative is designed to position young Emiratis as regional and global role models while enhancing their access to international markets.

Located between Concourses B and C in Terminal 3, the Emirati District benefits from high foot traffic, attracting an estimated six to seven million visitors annually.

The space serves as a platform for launching small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in growing sectors, offering specialized training programs aimed at improving management skills and boosting competitiveness in both local and global markets.

The Emirati District's launch features four key projects: Amadal by Afnan Bushalat, a concept focused on creating products that evoke a sense of home; Mira Farms by FBMI, a social enterprise that supports underprivileged communities, particularly female farmers, by providing global market access for their natural produce; Nuwa by Abdulaziz Al-Jabri, a brand that honors the UAE's agricultural heritage through locally sourced ingredients to premium products; and From the Arab by Alyazi Almheiri, a luxury home fragrance brand that reintroduces traditional Arabic scents into modern homes worldwide.
