China's foreign trade up 2.9% in H1

emirates7 - China’s total trade in goods reached 21.79 trillion yuan (around US$3.05 trillion) in the first half of 2025, reflecting a 2.9% increase compared to the same period last year, according to official data released on Monday.

Exports rose by 7.2% year-on-year during the January–June period, while imports dropped by 2.7%, based on statistics from the General Administration of Customs.
